This is a new series of courses to help technicians find and fix problems when they occur. 

This course will teach tools and the Six Step Troubleshooting method to provide the skills needed to find and fix faults in the network.

At the completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand why copper testing is important
  • Perform basic copper line tests:
    • TDR Test
    • Continuity Test
    • Voltage Test
    • VDSLv2 Profile Test

At the completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify typical problems in a wireless network
  • Understand which statistics indicate potential problems
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of a wireless network

This course teaches how to identify and troubleshoot a variety of common fiber optic link problems.

At the completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Use tools built into the EtherWAN switch user interface to identify problems
  • Identify potential issues in copper wiring
  • Understand tools to identify the location of the problem
