This course will teach you how to identify common ITS devices, explain their purpose and connectivity requirements, and help you to understand ITS as a whole.


This course provides an introduction to EtherWAN switches.  Highlights include: overview of EtherWAN technologies, unboxing and video walkthrough of configuring and connecting the switch to your PC for programming, and how to set the name and IP address on the switch.

This course will teach you how to login and configure EtherWAN Layer 3 switches including setting NTP, configuring a router port, and updating firmware.

Recommended Prerequisites:


At the completion of this course you will be able to understand what a network switch is used for, MAC Addresses, and be able to tell the difference between Unicast, Broadcast, and Multicast.


At the completion of this course you will be able to understand what a router is used for, what an IP address is, and be able to identify and understand various routing methods.


This course will teach you how to identify and understand the layers of the TCP and OSI models, and explain how network communications work.
